Chicago Rec Sports is super excited to announce, due to an extremely generous sponsorship offer from All Kids Play, when we raise $20,000, they will match it with $20,000.

All Kids Play is a Chicago area-based non-profit that is transforming the lives of kids from low-income families through youth sports grant programs. All Kids Play recently has been selected by Gatorade as a 2022 Gatorade Fuel Tomorrow Community Grant Award Recipient, which is based on All Kids Play’s commitment to providing access to sports to underserved student-athletes who are underrepresented or disenfranchised by barriers that limit play while also driving positive change and impact within communities.
This initiative allows children ages five to thirteen to try one or multiple new sports for the first time or give players the opportunity to get some extra playtime without committing to a full season. This program is led by our professionally trained coaching staff and is designed to develop the player’s physical activity, build friendship, self-confidence, and independence in a safe fun environment.
Initiative includes:
- Classes at No Cost
- Trained Coach Mentors
- S.E.A.D Curriculum (Social, Emotional, Athletic, Development)
- Practice and Games
This scholarship allows a child from age five to thirteen to participate in a full week of SPF Day Camp during the summer or holiday breaks. Camp fosters a strong self-identity, individual expression, teamwork, and genuine respect for others.
Scholarship includes:
- One Week of Full Day Camp Registration fees
- Trained Coach Mentors
- S.E.A.D Curriculum (Social, Emotional, Athletic, Development)
- Multi-sport, hands on experiences and educational activities
- Participation Award
This scholarship is a yearlong program that allows a teen from age fourteen to nineteen to develop life and leadership skills through mentorships and training. Teens develop work etiquette in addition to social and emotional learning which prepares them for college and future opportunities.
Scholarship includes:
- Annual Membership Dues and Gear
- Coach Mentor Training
- Brand Ambassador Training
- Community Service Hours
- Enhancement of College Applications
- Wages Where Applicable
